Essential Settings for Samsung Android 8.x Guide

These settings must be configured appropriately to keep the application (client version) working.

Battery Setting

1. Settings > Device maintenance > Battery > Battery usage > Three-dot menu button > Optimize battery usage > All apps – System Service (1,2,3)
   Set to “OFF”
   
2. Settings > Device maintenance > Battery > Power saving mode (1,2,3)
   Set to “OFF”
3. Settings > Device maintenance > Battery > Three-dot menu button > Advanced settings > App power monitor (1,2,3)
   Set to “ON”
   
   

    

   Battery > Unmonitored apps > Add apps > System Service (1,2,3)
   Set to “ON” 
   

4. Settings > Device maintenance > Battery > Three-dot menu button > Advanced settings > App power monitor (1,2,3)
   Set to “OFF”

Background App Setting

Settings > Apps > System Service > Memory > Use details > Allow background activity (1,2,3)
Set to “ON” 

Other Settings

You don't need to change these settings by default. But they will affect the application (client version) functions if changed by the user.

Data Usage

Settings > Apps > System Service > Mobile data > Allow background data usage & Allow app while Data saver on (1,2,3)
Set to “ON” 

App Setting

Settings > Apps > System Service > Permissions (1,2,3)
Set to “ON”
