Essential Settings for Samsung Android 6.x Guide
These settings must be configured appropriately to keep the application (client app) working.
Battery Settings
- Settings > Battery > Power saving > Power saving mode & Ultra power saving mode (1,2)
Set to “OFF” - Settings > Battery > BATTERY USAGE > 3-Dot Menu button > Optimize battery usage – All apps > System Service (1,2,3)
Set to “OFF”
Background App Setting
Notice: Smart Manager is currently available for Samsung Galaxy S® 6 devices from T-Mobile, US Cellular, and MetroPCS.
Other Settings
You don't need to change these settings by default. But they will affect the application functions if changed by the user.
Data Usage
- Settings > Data usage > 3-Dot Menu button > Restrict background data (1,2,3)
Set to “Turn off Restrict background data”. - Settings > Data usage > MOBILE > Set mobile data limit (1,2,3)
Set to “OFF” - Settings > Data usage > WLAN > System Service > Application data usage > Restrict background data (1,2,3,4)
Set to “OFF”
App Permissions
Settings > Application manager > System Service > App info – Permissions > App Permissions(1,2,3)
Allow all permissions
